Congratulations to all Swim Trafford National
swimmers. Nye Baker and Zoe Dale winning silvers at the Welsh Nationals (Nye breaking an age group record in the process).
Lucy Grainge has had a fabulous start to the new season. Firstly being selected for the UK schools games. Representing Central England in the 4 x 200m free relay & the individual 400m Free. The competition was held over several days in the North East with other teams from the UK taking part. Top school age athletes swam in this very exciting & intense meet; Lucy raced really well getting silver in the 4 x 200m & 4th in the 400m. A massive achievement when faced with the rest of the UK! Central England also took first overall with the North West swimming to a nail biting second.
Congratulations to Lucy Grainge for being selected for the North West Beacon program. This selection puts her in the top percentage of female athletes in the North West, outstanding work. We are very proud of her achievements .
