About

Swim Trafford is Trafford's new comeptitive performance swimming squad. Supported by the Borough's four swimming clubs and Trafford Leisure Trust, swimmers of National and International potential can be developed locally. James Stannard, the head coach at Swim Trafford, is a fully qualified coach with a proven track record of getting swimmers into national and international events swimming for their country. For the first time, Trafford's young swimmers have a real opportunity to train to national standards without leaving the borough to achieve their aims.

Location

The squad trains predominately at Stretford Leisure Centre. Morning training is at 5:15 for a prompt 5:30 start. The afternoon sessions start at 16:30 followed on some evenings by gym training for the 'youth' swimmers.
